Dr. Ben Lundell was born and raised in Dubuque and joined his father, Dr. Chris, at Lundell and Hoy Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Ben enjoys continuing his dental training through a variety of courses every year. He is passionate about providing the best care possible for his patients and has earned advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign. In his free time Ben enjoys being outside with his family and is an avid runner, competing in both short races and marathon events throughout the year. He has three children, Yeardley, Walker, and Ashe.

Dr. Ellen (Piekenbrock) Hoy was born and raised as a 4th generation Dubuquer. Ellen joined Lundell and Hoy Dentistry in 1997. She enjoys providing modern and compassionate care for all of her patients and has donated hundreds of hours of free dental work with Give Kids a Smile® and volunteer dental clinics. When not seeing her patients, Ellen loves to walk, read, and to be involved in the community with various organizations and events. She and her husband, Dr. Stephen Hoy (Dermatologist at Medical Associates), have four children: Patrick, Kalie, Jack, and Natalie.
